Lookalike lab
What this is and what it is not
igualito.es is a small home for experimental visual experiences focused on facial lookalikes. Right now it includes at least two specials, Mundial 2026 and Hollywood, built on the same technical base with different reference sets and tone. The result is meant to be playful and plausible, not a biometric truth.
About igualito.es
igualito.es is meant to host lightweight experiments and playful interactive projects. It is not a critical service, not an identity platform, and not a substitute for human judgment, editorial review or any real-world decision-making about people.
A project by Victor at ningunaparte.net, built as a personal lab for web, image and interaction experiments.
What the specials do
The experiences use pre-trained AI models to detect a face, extract facial features and compare them in the browser against a reference set. In Mundial 2026 that set contains players; in Hollywood it contains actors and actresses. From there the site produces a resemblance estimate with a real technical foundation underneath.
The wording, tone and many of the phrases around the final result belong to the playful layer of the project. The technical process is not random, but it should not be read as infallible scientific measurement either.
- It is not identity recognition.
- It does not verify who a person is.
- It is not intended to infer sensitive traits about the user.
What it does not promise
Results may be funny, plausible, strange or outright nonsense. Quality depends on the photo, lighting, pose, available crop and the quality of reference imagery.
- We do not guarantee accuracy, consistency or stability across versions.
- We do not guarantee permanent availability of the project.
- We do not guarantee that third-party public sources remain unchanged or available.
User photos
The photo you upload or capture for any of the current specials is processed locally in the browser. In this experience it is not sent to our servers and is not stored by us.
Your device, browser or any external services involved in loading the website may still keep their own technical records. That part is outside the control of this experience.
Sources and third parties
Photos and metadata may come from public sources or from local fallback assets prepared to keep the experience stable. Some images may be poorly cropped, outdated or simply not ideal.
Future changes
igualito.es may add new experiences, modify this one, pause it or remove it. If data handling, monetization or third-party dependencies change in a meaningful way, we will update this documentation and the privacy page accordingly.
